We change the oil in the gearbox. Why do you need to control the oil volume in the gearbox? How many liters of oil are poured into the box?

The functioning of automobile units directly depends on the characteristics and volume of motor oil. Various brands Machines require different amounts of lubrication. How much oil needs to be poured into gearboxes, what are the replacement intervals - all this depends on the design of the car.

Any car must be filled with lubricant that is suitable for it, taking into account the date of manufacture of the car. It is necessary to rely on what is stated in the operating manual.

Transmission Lubricant Change Intervals

If you have a car, the gearbox oil needs to be changed every sixty to seventy thousand kilometers. Practice has shown that it is advisable to replace them a little more often. When operating a car, its gears work intensively and wear out quickly if the oil product is not replaced for a long time. A sign of increased wear is considered to be metal shavings that collect on magnetic elements.

You will have to pour fresh oil into an automatic or manual transmission if:

  • the shade of the lubricant has become blackish or brownish;
  • the oil smells like burning;
  • the amount of oil has decreased significantly;
  • There are metal particles in the petroleum product.

Oil color should not be black

If the oil volume in the automatic transmission is low, you can top it up, but it is better to completely change the lubricant. How difficult is the replacement procedure? It is quite simple, especially if you are not doing it for the first time and have extensive driving experience. However, for inexperienced motorists there are specialized service centers. For a reasonable fee, service center employees will change the lubricant and perform other procedures related to vehicle maintenance and car repairs.

Selecting a gear lubricant

The gearbox oil can be:

  • mineral water;
  • semi-synthetic;
  • synthetics.

Mineral water is used in cars that were produced quite a long time ago. Due to its low viscosity and fluidity, it is excellent for automatic/manual transmissions with high output and clearances in the housing.

Semi-synthetics easily pass through all parts of the unit. It usually contains special additives. They increase resistance to corrosion, protect against boiling and serious overheating.

Synthetics are poured into many modern cars that require high-quality lubricant. Its characteristics provide reliable protection of all gearbox spare parts. However, you will have to pay more for synthetics than for mineral water/semi-synthetics.

How much gearbox oil will need to be changed? For the most part passenger cars Three and a half liters of oil will be enough. It is possible to pour 80w85 into cars with front-wheel drive. This lubricant belongs to the GL-4 category.

Changing transmission lube

It is easier to drain spent petroleum products if they are heated. To warm up the lubricant, drive a couple of kilometers and return to the garage. Place the car on a ditch or lift. Turn off the engine internal combustion, commit vehicle using a special device.

Use a jack to ensure all the grease comes out of the car. Raise the car on one side, wait until the consumables drain. After this, lift the car from the other side. Replacement of petroleum products is carried out according to the following algorithm:

How to determine exactly how many liters of oil are in a box? Drive it for a short drive or let the engine idle for a quarter of an hour. Turn off the engine, after five minutes check how much oil is in the transmission. If necessary, top up. Excess oil can be drained through a special hole.

Check the oil level on a warm box

There is another way to change consumables. The procedure lasts longer than the shift according to the above algorithm. In addition, it requires special equipment.

  1. Disconnect the pipe connecting the transmission and radiator.
  2. Install the pipes of the device for changing the oil.
  3. Start the engine and device.
  4. Drain the grease completely.
  5. Pour fresh oil into the oil filler neck by unscrewing the cap.

How much oil should I pour? The answer to this question can be found in the operating manual. The car manufacturer must indicate the recommended volume of consumables to be filled. It is necessary to follow its recommendations in order to prevent the occurrence of various malfunctions related to the operation of the machine.

Correct operation of the transmission unit on the VAZ 2114 is only possible with timely maintenance of the gearbox. One of the important aspects of maintenance is replacing the lubricant. To prevent the gearbox from experiencing oil starvation when it is underfilled, you need to know how much oil is in the VAZ 2114 gearbox.

How to determine the required amount of oil for a VAZ 2114 gearbox?

According to official data, the transmission volume in VAZ 2114 cars is 3.5 liters. But in practice, the amount of fluid to be replaced can be 3.3 liters. This is due to the fact that when the used lubricant is drained, a certain amount of oil remains in the gearbox on the pulleys and walls.

If, when replacing, the transmission unit is flushed or major renovation, you will need 3.5 liters of liquid. It must be taken into account that during the operation of the car, natural wear and tear of parts occurs, which leads to an increase in the oil level. This is due to the fact that the constituent elements of the gearbox and its housing lose a certain volume. But the level of substitution in this case will be no more than 50-100 grams.

Which lubricant to choose?

Before refueling consumables you need to decide on the choice of oil for the VAZ 2114 gearbox, the quality of the unit’s operation will depend on this. The manufacturing plant advises consumers to choose one of three categories of lubricants.

The KOSSS102 channel talked about the choice of consumables for transmissions of VAZ 2114 cars.

Allowed use of oils:

  • mineral based;
  • with a synthetic base;
  • based on semi-synthetics.

In principle, any fluid can be used, but it is important that it meets the specifications recommended by the manufacturer:

  1. 75W-90. Synthetic consumables are characterized by good lubricating properties. Their influence makes it possible to ensure optimal operation of the machine’s transmission under operating conditions in severe frost. Main disadvantage synthetic oils lies in the loud noise that the gearbox begins to make after filling in comparison with semi-synthetics. If you choose a lubricant with a viscosity grade of 75W-90, it is important that it meets the GL-4 specification.
  2. 85W-90. The semi-synthetic consumable has good performance characteristics. The use of such oils is more advisable in vehicles with high mileage. The cost of such lubricants is less compared to synthetic substances. According to the API standard, the product must be at least GL-4.
  3. It is allowed to use mineral lubricant with viscosity type 80W90. The main disadvantage of this oil is its susceptibility to low temperatures. In severe frost, the mineral lubricant becomes thicker and loses its characteristics.

In addition to these points, when choosing a lubricant, it is important to consider the following nuances:

  • design features of the vehicle’s gearbox, as well as the vehicle’s drive;
  • climatic conditions in which the vehicle is used, in particular if the region is characterized by frequent and sudden temperature changes;
  • the time of year during which the vehicle is used more intensively;
  • the volume of loads that fall on the gearbox under different operating modes, as well as their nature;
  • the impact of additives in the liquid on individual components of the unit.

The Multi Dads channel spoke in detail about the choice of transmission lubricant for gearboxes.

How often should you change the oil?

In order for the gearbox to operate without interruption, the lubricant in it must be replaced at regular intervals.

According to official data specified in the service manual, the procedure for changing consumables in the transmission should be carried out every 60 thousand kilometers. Or this must be done after four years of operation of the machine. The last option is relevant for motorists who do not travel 60 thousand km during the specified time.

But in practice, in order to prevent problems with the operation of the unit, when choosing a replacement interval you need to:

  1. Check the lubricant by touch. Over time, solid particles begin to form in the consumable material, which indicates that its service life is coming to an end. If present, the fluid is replaced.
  2. Diagnose the color and smell of consumables. After a certain mileage, the oil becomes dark, but the presence of sediment will indicate the need to replace it. In addition, the low quality of the consumable will be indicated by bad smell. If the fluid smells like burning, it must be replaced.
  3. Periodically monitor the condition of the seals, especially if synthetic fluid is poured into the car.
  4. Always change the gearbox oil after purchasing a used car.

Therefore, taking these points into account, the need for a change may arise earlier than established by the manufacturer’s regulations. Reviews from VAZ 2114 car owners show that many compatriots change the lubricant after 25-30 thousand kilometers. It is recommended to adhere to this indicator if the vehicle is used frequently and intensively.

The channel “Secrets of Perekupa” told more about what will happen if you do not change the oil in the transmission unit in a timely manner.

Types of VAZ 2114 gearboxes

Domestic VAZ 2114 models can be equipped with two types of transmission units - old and new. Therefore, before performing the replacement task, it is necessary to determine exactly what type of gearbox is installed on the car. Old-style units are not equipped with dipsticks that allow you to check the lubricant level.

The new type of transmissions have a meter. To accurately determine the type of unit, you need to open the engine compartment and look for the dipstick. The level diagnostic meter is located opposite the driver's seat. It can be seen under the pipe air filter. At the end of the probe there is a black rubberized ring.

Checking the amount of oil in the gearbox

There are two options to diagnose the lubricant level in the system. You can use a probe, if possible, or check visually if it is not available.

Checking with a dipstick

Diagnostics is performed as follows:

  1. The car is placed on a flat surface.
  2. If the check is carried out after a trip, the engine and gearbox must be allowed to cool. This will take about fifteen minutes. During this time, the lubricant will have time to drain back into the transmission housing.
  3. The hood of the car opens.
  4. The dipstick is removed from the unit. Take a clean rag and wipe the meter to remove any remaining liquid.
  5. Then it is installed back. This must be done most carefully so as not to touch the walls of the gearbox with the dipstick.
  6. The meter is removed from the hole and the consumable level is checked. It is desirable that the volume of liquid corresponds to the MAX mark. If the level is lower, additional lubricant is required.

Kirill Zbruenko spoke about checking the volume of the substance in the gearbox using the example of a VAZ 2115; on a Four-wheeler, the procedure is performed in a similar way.

Checking without a dipstick

On older cars, the procedure for diagnosing the volume of lubricant is performed as follows:

  1. To check, you will need a garage with a pit or an overpass where the vehicle is driven. If this is not possible, the front of the car is raised on a jack.
  2. The protective pan is dismantled. To do this, unscrew all the bolts securing it.
  3. Using a wrench, unscrew the cover located on the transmission.
  4. Then a screwdriver or other similar object is lowered into the gearbox hole. It is important that it is clean.
  5. Ideally, the lubricant should reach the bottom thread of the hole on the crankcase. If this is not enough, then a special syringe with a tube attached to its tip is used to add liquid. An ordinary medical device is not suitable for these purposes; it is necessary to use a technical one.

How to change the oil in a VAZ 2114 gearbox yourself?

You can change the lubricant in the domestic “four” with your own hands. To do this, it is important to prepare all the tools and prepare the car for the task.

Required Tools

Materials needed for replacement:

  1. New oil. The lubricant that needs to be poured into the transmission must be selected taking into account the technical characteristics of the machine.
  2. Dry and clean rags. It is important that the rags are lint-free.
  3. An old container into which waste liquid is drained. The volume of the tank should be at least five liters.
  4. 17 wrench, it is recommended to prepare a socket tool. It will have a hexagonal recess, thanks to which you can unscrew the drain plug. When using a regular key, you need to be careful. If the edges are damaged during the task, a new cover will be required.
  5. Gloves.
  6. Probe for level diagnostics.
  7. A hose with an installed funnel or a technical syringe with a connected pipe.

Preparatory activities

Before you begin the task, you need to warm up the car. Then the engine stops, you need to wait about fifteen minutes, this will allow the substance to drain completely. If the vehicle is equipped with a sump guard without holes, it will have to be removed. Otherwise, it will be impossible to access the drain cover. To complete the task, you need to unscrew the bolts with a wrench and dismantle the protection.

User Denis Onishchenko spoke in more detail about preparing a car for replacing transmission fluid and performing this process.

The procedure for replacing the lubricant in the box of a new VAZ 2114

The change procedure is as follows:

  1. Gloves are put on and all the equipment is prepared. The first actions are performed from under the bottom of the car.
  2. There is a drain plug on the gearbox; place a container under it.
  3. The cover can be unscrewed with a wrench, but cannot be completely removed.
  4. The following actions are performed from above. The housing of the air filter device in the engine compartment must be removed. To do this, unscrew four screws and use a screwdriver to loosen the clamp on the clamp. Then the filter element is removed from the hose.
  5. The lower part of the device is detached from the vehicle. The replacement procedure can be complicated by the fact that the hood lock cable will interfere with its implementation.
  6. Then the fasteners are disconnected, and the filter element housing is placed next to it.
  7. The surface around the dipstick needs to be cleaned; you can use a brush for this. This will prevent dust and contaminants from getting inside the transmission unit after it is removed.
  8. Then, under the bottom of the car, the transmission drain plug is completely unscrewed. The cover must be removed gradually until the lubricant begins to seep through it. Then the plug is quickly removed from the installation site.
  9. To completely drain the lubricant, you need to wait about half an hour. If the engine has not been warmed up beforehand, it will take longer.
  10. After draining the waste substance, the plug is screwed in, but not all the way.
  11. From the outside engine compartment A hose with a funnel installed at the other end is inserted into the fill hole. About two hundred grams of new lubricant are refilled. You need to wait until the oil flows down and displaces the old substance with a fresh composition. You can find out about this when brown grease comes out of the box. Then fresh liquid will begin to flow.
  12. The drain plug is screwed in until it stops.
  13. New oil is poured into the transmission unit through a funnel. Level control is performed using a dipstick. Ideally, the lubricant will be between the minimum and maximum marks on the meter. The exact volume of liquid that can enter the box depends on how much of the substance spilled out of it. After filling, you need to wait about five minutes for the oil to distribute through all channels, then check the level again. If adding lubricant is not required, wipe the fill valve with a clean rag and reinstall it.
  14. The next step is to clean the breather; this element is required to equalize the pressure level. If you do not get rid of contaminants, air can put pressure on the lubricant, which will begin to squeeze out the seals. In order for the oil to be optimally distributed throughout the internal channels of the transmission, it is necessary to start power unit and warm it up.

The procedure for replacing fluid in an old-style VAZ 2114 box

The procedure for changing the oil in old and new type gearboxes is the same.

The only difference is that the filler hole is in a different location. It is located not at the top of the engine compartment, but at the bottom, above the drain plug. Therefore, it is necessary to refill the lubricant into the transmission until it comes out of the hole. The filling procedure is carried out using a hose, one end of which is installed in the gearbox. And on the other you put a funnel or syringe.

Changing the gearbox oil is an important part of car care. Over time, the lubricant ages and ceases to perform its functions, thereby causing wear and tear on the device parts. The VAZ Nine gearbox is reliable and durable, but it cannot do without maintenance. is not difficult; a motorist can handle this task on his own. Before pouring oil into the VAZ-2109 box, it is important to read the automaker’s recommendations.

Replacement frequency

Despite the durability of the gearbox, it also tends to wear out and periodically requires attention from the car owner. A scheduled oil change in the VAZ-2109 gearbox should be carried out every 70 thousand km. mileage or after 5 years of operation. However, if the device starts to appear extraneous sounds, the procedure must be carried out earlier. It is also necessary to take into account the fact in what conditions the car is operated. Sometimes the replacement time is almost halved, for example, for cars subjected to heavy loads, the service interval will be about 40 thousand kilometers.

Checking the volume and condition of the oil

Every 5 - 10 thousand km. It is recommended to check the level and condition of the oil, as well as the box for leaks. Constant monitoring allows you to protect parts from wear and tear, preventing the need for repairs in a timely manner. The vehicle must be placed on a flat surface during the procedure.

You can check the oil level in the VAZ-2109 gearbox using the dipstick located under the hood. To do this, remove the device, wipe off the grease and insert it back until it stops, then remove it again and evaluate the results.

Ideally, the oil level is at the upper mark of the meter, but if not, then you should definitely add fluid to the required level, and it is important not to overfill the lubricant higher than required. The lower mark of the device shows the minimum permissible value, and if it is lowered, there is already a danger of early failure of the box.

In addition, it is important to monitor the condition of the fluid. Its color, which tends to change over time and is often far from the original, will say a lot. If the oil remains clear but has darkened a little, then this is considered normal, but if it becomes cloudy and looks dirty, it means that a large amount of metal shavings and other deposits have accumulated in it. It is also important to pay attention to the presence of a burning smell. In this case, the box urgently needs to replace the lubricant.

Oil options for the VAZ-2109 gearbox

The fact that the operation of the transmission depends on the quality of the lubricant being poured is no longer a secret, but a well-known fact. An incorrectly chosen product can affect the functioning of the device and lead to very undesirable consequences. The Nine gearbox does not require the purchase of ultra-expensive oil, but it is still specifications play an important role in ensuring stable operation. There are certain recommendations for selecting a suitable this car lubricants The choice should be taken with full responsibility, because the serviceability, service life of the device, as well as the frequency of replacement will depend on what kind of oil is poured into the VAZ-2109 box.

  • Omskoil Trans P class GL-4/5;
  • Rexol T GL-4;
  • Volnese TM4 GL-4.

The plant poured mineral lubricant from Lukoil into cars, but in practice, in winter, the liquid is not adapted to cope with very low temperatures.

“Nines” is quite wide and is not limited to a few brands. The manufacturer recommends for use oil of classifications GL-3 and GL-4, as well as TM-3 and TM-4 according to Russian standards. You can choose any one that meets these requirements. Semi-synthetic and synthetic lubricants behave much better in cold weather, providing rapid heating and maintaining their properties even at very low temperatures.

It is also equally important to purchase without running into a fake, so you need to buy oil from trusted sellers who have appropriate certificates confirming the quality of the products.

On the very first cars produced, the same oil was used for the transmission that was poured into the engine. This was also recommended by the manufacturer. Now there is no shortage of auto chemicals, so it is better to use specialized products for their intended purpose.

How much to fill

How much oil to pour into the VAZ-2109 gearbox depends on the type of transmission design. Previously, the “nines” were equipped with a four-speed gearbox, and a little later – with a five-speed one. In any case, you can purchase a canister with a capacity of four liters or more.

Amount of oil needed for replacement:

  • a four-speed gearbox holds 3 liters of lubricant;
  • for a five-speed gearbox the oil volume will be 3.3 liters.

Tools and materials

To update transmission oil in the VAZ-2109 box, you need to prepare the following tools and materials:

Topping up oil

Regularly checking the fluid level in the VAZ-2109 box will allow you to maintain the device in good condition for many years.

Based on the marks on the dipstick, add oil if necessary. It is very important to keep the transmission fluid level at the maximum level. A drop in volumes to a minimum leads to severe wear and tear on the car's gearbox, as a result of which it is at risk of repair or complete failure. Topping up is carried out using a dipstick and a funnel into the hole of the measuring device, where oil should be poured if the gearbox is serviced. In case the car does not have a dipstick, a syringe is used and liquid is added to the hole in the filler neck.

You should only add a product that is identical to what was used previously; mixing different compositions can have an extremely negative effect on the box.

Step-by-step instructions for replacing the gearbox on a “nine”

VAZ produced “nines” with serviced boxes that were not equipped with a measuring probe.

Before the procedure, it is necessary to warm up the transmission fluid so that it drains better. To do this, it is enough to drive 5–10 km, and then drive the car into a pit or place it on a lift.

How to fill oil into a VAZ-2109 box without a dipstick

The process of changing oil in a manual transmission consists of three main stages. When the preparation has already been completed and access to the bottom of the car is obtained, we move on to the next step.

Drain the oil

Remove the rubber cap of the transmission breather, clean it and reinstall it. Remove the bolt drain hole key to 17, then tighten it manually. We pour the waste into a pre-prepared container; about three liters should flow out of the box, provided that the oil level is normal. After we have managed to drain all the fluid from the gearbox, tighten the plug.

Filling with new oil

For boxes with a dipstick, new transmission fluid is poured directly into the hole of the measuring device using a funnel, and it is easy to control the level of the lubricant being poured.

It's more difficult to do without a probe. The filler neck is located slightly higher to the right of the drain hole, and you will have to measure the level along its edge. We unscrew the plug and pour in the oil using a special syringe with an oil line at the end. When the liquid reaches the upper edge of the hole, stop filling and return the lid to its place.

There is also the option of changing the oil through the speedometer drive hole. In this case, the level of the lubricant being poured is easily visible, but this method is intended to be used as a last resort if it is not possible to carry out the procedure in a standard way.

Within the framework of regulatory Maintenance any car, including the classic VAZ 2107 model, among other things, is produced complete replacement lubrication in the gearbox (gearbox) and gear housing rear axle. According to the manufacturer's recommendations, this procedure is performed every time after a run of 35,000 kilometers or after three years of continuous operation of the VAZ 2107.

A necessary condition under which the replacement of lubricant in the box and rear axle housing will be carried out successfully and without any problems is the presence of an inspection hole or a special overpass. Otherwise, changing the oil will be very problematic.

Of the tools, changing the lubricant will require:

  • Socket wrench or socket 17;
  • Container for collecting used lubricant;
  • Metal brush;
  • Device for filling oil (syringe, blower, etc.).

In addition, it is necessary to purchase new oil in the required volume for filling. To determine how much lubricant to buy, let’s make simple calculations: you need to fill the VAZ 2107 box with approximately 1.6 liters plus 1.3 liters into the rear axle gearbox. In total, the minimum required volume of gear oil is 3 liters.

To prevent wastage of time and material resources, before starting work, it is strongly recommended that the gearbox be thoroughly inspected for leaks. If a leak is detected, you must first eliminate its cause, and only then change the oil.

First of all, you need to clean the drain and filler plugs from dirt using a wire brush. To begin with, a replacement in the gearbox. Place a container for used oil and unscrew the filler and drain plugs one by one. After all the oil has flowed out of the gearbox, screw the drain plug into place. We check the drained oil for the presence of metal impurities and excessive contamination.

If the used oil is too dirty, it is strongly recommended to flush the gearbox. There are special washing liquids for this, but you can prepare it yourself. There is nothing complicated about this: you need to mix oil (no matter what, motor or transmission) and diesel fuel or kerosene in a 1:1 ratio. 1 liter of mixture is enough for washing. Using a syringe or other device, you need to pour the mixture into the box and screw it on filler plug. After this, turn on neutral speed, start the engine and let it run for 5-10 minutes and drain the flushing mixture from the box.

In the event that you are washing not only the box, but also the rear axle gearbox of a VAZ 2107, you will need to jack up rear wheel, secure the car using wheel chocks and let the engine run with the gear engaged. At the same time, both the gearbox and the rear axle will be washed.

After the oil or flush has been drained from the gearbox and the drain plug has been screwed into place, use a syringe or other device to fill in a new one. According to the factory's recommendations, oil is poured until it begins to flow out through the filler hole. After this, screw the filler plug into place, and the replacement can be considered complete.

In old VAZ 2107 cars, it happens that it is not possible to unscrew the filler plug for one reason or another. Then, after draining the lubricant, you need to disassemble the protective seals around the gear shift lever and fill in oil from the passenger compartment. Since it is impossible to control the volume through the filler hole, we rely on the manufacturer’s recommendations: for a four-speed gearbox – 1.4 liters, for a five-speed gearbox – 1.6.

Changing the lubricant in the rear axle of a VAZ 2107 is carried out in the same way, using the same tools and devices.

Reliable operation of the gearbox ensures comfortable operation of the vehicle. Emerging problems with the gearbox sometimes make driving a car impossible. Therefore, the gearbox is rightfully considered one of the most important components of a car.

The volume of oil poured into the VAZ 2107 gearbox depends on the modification of the unit. VAZ 2107 cars were equipped with four- and five-speed gearboxes. A specific type of vehicle configuration requires a different amount of the substance to be poured.

Technical regulations on the amount of transmission substance

Transmission fluid is monitored every 10 thousand km, i.e. during the next maintenance. Before checking the amount of substance, you need to let the car sit for a while. During this period, the transmission fluid will have time to flow down the walls of the box. If the fluid level reaches the edge of the lower edge of the filler hole, then its volume is quite sufficient, and the oil is not replaced or topped up.

How much transmission oil will be needed when completely replacing it directly depends on the type of gearbox. By technical instructions The volume of liquid is set to:

  • for 4-mortar – 1.35 l;
  • for a 5-mortar – 1.6 l.

Experienced drivers advise filling the 5-mortar with lubricant slightly above the set level - “as much as it will fit”. To do this, lift the car from the driver's door with a jack. Then add 250–300 g of liquid. This will ensure reliable lubrication of the 5th gear gear. There is no need to be especially afraid of increased pressure on the seals, since excess pressure is released through the breather.

Under what conditions is replacement made?

  • checkpoint;
  • gearbox (rear axle).

The operating regulations require such replacements every 35 thousand km or after 3 years of use of the VAZ 2107 - whichever comes first. Some advice on replacing the fluid in the gearbox applies to cases of purchasing a used VAZ 2107. Despite the assurances former owners If the fluid was changed recently, it is better to play it safe and change the gearbox oil.

In addition to the above cases, replacement of the transmission substance is necessary when:

We can safely say: the quality of the transmission oil determines the condition of the gearbox or even the entire car. Therefore, it is quite acceptable to change the fluid more often. For example, after 20–25 thousand. km run.

What will be needed for replacement and what materials to choose

To replace the transmission substance in the VAZ 2107 box you will need:

Particular attention should be paid to which oil is best suited for the seven-speed gearbox. The answer options vary significantly in the quality level of the product and its cost. Recommendations are full of names of well-known manufacturing brands lubricants. Which one to choose is not easy to decide. It is important that the selected transmission fluid is indicated by markings within the range 75W90 - 80W95. The lubricant group should be designated GL-4 or GL-5.

How to change: main stages of the process

Successful replacement of the transmission fluid in the gearbox occurs after a trip of more than 5 km. This is necessary for the liquid to warm up. Change the transmission oil by immovably fixing the car on an overpass or inspection hole. Operations are performed according to the following instructions:

Since the same oil must be poured into the gearbox and rear axle gearbox, it is better to change it in these units at the same time. 3 liters will be enough (1.3 liters fits in the gearbox).
